![]() ![]() Eventually, as of a couple of months before this posting, I started putting everything together. My friends, Josh, Nick, and Thom, as well as Rachel, all started collaborating with me after a time. Form that very moment she supported me, and though I dragged my feet (straight through some shit, even), I'm grateful that now it's coming together. The point of that is, though, that when I woke up, the idea was there.įor the rest of the day, she and I spent our time roaming around the city and I wrote extensively into a little red notebook that she had loaned to me. I don't really remember, but I recall that the dream got pretty weird after that. Then, I think I ended up on one of the ships and had to try and muster up a astro-pirate crew of some sort. There were a bunch of tokens, and pieces, and one of the kids was yelling at the other over giving them space scurvy. It involved super futuristic ships sailing over a map of the oceans. No, oddly enough, in that shop there were a couple of kids playing a game that I had never seen before. Imagine poured concrete walls lined with metal shelves that are filled with games, trinkets, and doodads instead of canned food, water, and gasoline.īut, it wasn't the power armor that made me think of the game. It was impressive, and made by some weirdly fitting old dude that was - I think - a guidance counselor from my middle school. At least, that's the vibe I was getting, because my whole goal was to talk to a man who created a working, full-sized replica of the T-51 Power Armor from the Fallout series of games. ![]() In the dream, I was a reporter, specifically for a gaming website. I had just spent the night with my wonderfully bitchin' girlfriend, Rachel, and my head was filled with a crazy dream. I remember the first moment of realization that I could work towards building this thing. This was originally a spawn of my own creation years ago, probably around the summer of 2016. Their input has been invaluable, and them allowing me to feed off of their creativity to spur my own is just the tits.Īnyway, those thank-yous aside, I'm going to talk about the big picture dream that is Sit & Stay games. People supported and continue to support my ideas, and for that I am thankful. But, luckily for me, I've had a lot of good friends that have helped me along the way. That is a scary notion, building this whole thing. Most of my friends know that this has been a long time goal of mine to start a game company, and now I'm taking the first steps. This whole thing has been swimming in my head for quite a while. So, it has been quite a while since I've put anything really on to paper. ![]()
